This piece is fantastic in reality. The yellow stones are an unknown semi-precious with brown and green turquoise swirled around them. The back of the necklace is tied off with African wooden beads and clasped with a sterling latch hook. In order to keep the wreath-like look in place, delicate sheer ribbon was tied in place at every 3rd bead.
When this is worn on tan skin in the summer, it frankly appears like a lei. When I gave this daring piece a test run at the mall, I had many comments in just several hours. Heavy and gorgeous; this necklace is a blanket of tropical beauty.
