Falling Stars

This piece shows that I have themes in my work. I love these square pendants and they have been popular with buyers. The pendant is Amethyst with barbell Opalite woven in the center. The beads are Czechoslovakian matte beads, they are round in feature and have no sharp edges. Beads like this have a more organic and tribal look. The "stars" are the randomly set, floating pieces of square Opalite that run up the neckline. They are set off by fiber optic, two cut beads so that they sparkle like stars. The combination of matte beads with sparkling ones, makes this necklace unusual yet popular.
Metropolitan Orange

This is the image that is on my business card. This is one of my most elegant and sophisticated necklaces, but the wonderful color is what changes it from urbane to contemporary. The pendant is a Fire Agate and has some faint light Orange veins that run through the stone. The bead work includes tangerine colored Fresh Water Pearls. From Gold to Tangerine, Rust, Burnt Copper and Sienna this piece is beautiful on dark skin or with blond hair. This needs an owner; it is a head turning piece. The colors come alive when you have it in your hands.
Purple Caviar

This necklace was my first creation and it is still my favorite. The square pendants are horizontally placed and are made of Amethyst. The center of each pendant has barbell Opalite carefully nestled in them. The collar is made with 2 cut, fiber optic, Czechoslovakian beads. The clasp is magnetic and has an attachment so that is can be worn longer or as a choker.
This has been my most "eye catching" piece and it was the piece that helped me launch this blog and my commission work as well. I guess you could say it is my "good luck charm".
Moss and Rocks

This piece was commissioned and made with organic colors in mind. The square pendant has petrified moss in the stone and it strung with Green shell and Aqua colored Turquoise. These stones are also scattered through the collar of the necklace with 2 cut, fiber optic, Czechoslovakian beads. All of the components are sterling and the beads are strung with steel cable. The necklace went to a buyer in north Arvada; these are her favorite colors.
Mim's Lotus

This is an exotic yet delicate piece. This necklace was designed for a friend and was requested later for sale. The pendant is a Mother of Pearl Lotus flower, hung at the end of collared strands. The beads are mauve, two-cut, fiber optic Czechoslovakian beads and light green Aquamarine stones that are scattered throughout. This is clasped with a magnet and strung with steel cable.
The best part of this piece is that the pink and green beading are a direct reflection of the iridescent colors that flash along the pendant. This is currently one of my most popular pieces.

Wilma Gets Sexy

This piece is fantastic in reality. The yellow stones are an unknown semi-precious with brown and green turquoise swirled around them. The back of the necklace is tied off with African wooden beads and clasped with a sterling latch hook. In order to keep the wreath-like look in place, delicate sheer ribbon was tied in place at every 3rd bead.
When this is worn on tan skin in the summer, it frankly appears like a lei. When I gave this daring piece a test run at the mall, I had many comments in just several hours. Heavy and gorgeous; this necklace is a blanket of tropical beauty.

A Rare Piece

This is another Fire Agate. This time you can see the creamy veins are not as pronounced but you can see deeper color than other stones like this. The oranges are Rutty & Copper in some places and the purples are Lavender and Plum. The range of color in this stone is unusual. I married the stone with Rhomboid fresh water pearls. It is strung on steel cable with earrings to match.
Night Ocean
Czechoslovakia meets China

This Piece is made from Czechoslovakian matte beads, randomly placed square glass beads, and a beautiful Mother of Pearl pendant. It is a "black dress" item and is stunning when the lights hit the convex piece. It can be worn as a choker or, an extender can be added so that it hangs right where you want it.
Sherbet with Cream

This necklace is made from Fire Agate, square Opalite, Sterling silver tubing, and was a gift to a friend for her birthday. The pricing came out to be $90.00; she doesn't know that. She wore the necklace for her graduation party. The stone is veined with creamy white fingers and the colors are Lavender and Tangerine all at the same time. It was stunning on her!
Mediterranean Queen
This piece was hard for me. The Turquoise is an Aqua color
and the fanning was difficult to do. I had to take it apart
and then craft it all over again to get the setting of the
stones just right. These stones have beautiful brown
veins in them and I inspected each stone for its placement
before I set them. There are silver components and a magnet
clasp for easy fitting.
I placed this one on a friend and she said
she felt like a Mediterranean queen.
